Vision

“Where there is no vision, the people perish…” Proverbs 29:18

It is a Scriptural teaching that every ministry has a vision from God as to its purpose in God’s plan for His church.

Ours is a three-pronged vision, setting the captives free from:

* Religious Bondage
* Financial Bondage
* Marital Distress

History

God called this ministry into existence, on the first Sunday, in December of 1974 when Temple of Praise held it’s inaugural service. One year later, the Lord directed Pastor Perez to pioneer a work on an old country road. He moved from a beautiful suburban home to an old abandoned farmhouse, an equally dilapidated 2 bedroom house and a leaning barn, and horse stables. The old farmhouse became his family’s home for six and a half years.

The two bedroom home became the first sanctuary. It was then Pastor Perez knew God had begun this ministry, not man. A new boldness and courage flowed through him – there was nothing to fear – God was in control. JESUS IS…
