Dr. Gilbert D. Perez
Senior Pastor
Formerly a prominent businessman in the San Antonio community, Dr. Gilbert D. Perez heeded the call of the Lord on his life and held his first service as the Pastor of Temple of Praise Church in December of 1975. His willingness to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and his background in business have helped Temple of Praise Ministries flourish as a viable part of our community. His compassionate spirit and joyfulness make him a much sought after speaker at numerous crusades and conventions in the United States as well as internationally. With his PhD. in Family Counseling and Psychology he has also held numerous Marriage and Financial Seminars over the years. For over a quarter of a century, Pastor Perez has preached the gospel to thousands and equipped the congregation of Temple of Praise to further the kingdom of God here on earth. Pastor Perez has always been a visionary. His visionary spirit has birthed several ministries at home and abroad and has helped families grow and flourish in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Trudie M. Perez
First Lady
Since the humble beginnings of Temple of Praise in 1975, she has ministered alongside her husband, Pastor Perez. Her previous experience in the corporate world in management and finances has made her a strong helpmate to her husband and has given her a special place in the hearts of the Temple of Praise congregation. She has sung professionally for over 25 years and has recorded numerous songs. She gathered church musicians and singers from among the congregation and formed our worship and praise group known as the Temple-Heirs. She has sung at National and International crusades as well.
Frank Jauregui
Elder
Frank has been a member of Temple of Praise Church for seventeen years. He has served in various capacities; as an Elder of the Church, leader of the men’s prayer meeting, and in the home cell groups’ ministry.
He has joined Temple of Praise full time, to help develop and implement the T.O.P. Body Ministry.

Todo comenzó hace 24 años cuando conocimos al Señor en una Iglesia en Cabimas Venezuela, recibimos discipulado y una buena base biblica y comenzamos a trabajar con los adolescentes, fuè nuestro primer servicio al Señor, luego Dios nos llamó al pastorado y fuimos capacitados en todas las areas de la iglesia. En 1996 llegamos a los EEUU a Forlauderdale Florida por mandato del Señor y alli trabajamos por 6 años con el ministerio Marriage Ministries International, comenzando como lideres de grupo y por la gracia de Dios llegamos a ser Lideres Nacionales de Entrenamiento. En 2002 Dios nos llama a San Antonio Texas para retomar el pastorado, comenzamos una iglesia en Abril del 2005 que fue creciendo y 2007 conocimos al Pastor Gilbert Perez que nos dió una palabra de parte de Dios y desde Abril del 2009 somos la iglesia en Español de Temple of Praise.
